My husband had a work event and the dress code was business attire.

To me a pencil skirt and nice blouse fits this particular request but there were women in much dressier outfits at this dinner. Whoops!

I would have liked to worn a new dress but I just didn’t find anything in time. Instead, I wore this black and white pencil skirt from Forever21 and top also Forever21. To keep warm I wore black tights and my trusty Target heels. I love black and white outfits. It’s very basic but always chic!

I cant remember where this belt is from but I use it a lot to pull outfits together!
