Florida ☀️

Hi! We traveled to Florida in January for a quick trip. I found a really pretty dress on ASOS for our main “fancy” dinner. Everything else was something I already owned.

This dress is actually prettier in person. It was originally almost 100.00 and I got it for under 30! It’s really high quality and was easy to wear.

This is a fun dress form TJ Maxx! I wore this when we ate dinner in the hotel room the first night.

Travel day uniform. (Minus the flip flops)

This outfit was from a work event for my husband. Skirt is Target and the top I’ve had forever! Shoes are also from Target.

I didn’t shop for anything really new for this trip, hence the lack of photos! Good for my wallet I guess! 🙂

Happy New Year!

Happy 20/20! I took a break from posting in December, however I did snap a few outfits I wore this month. The holiday party that was the fanciest got canceled due to a snowstorm and I was so bummed not to wear the dress I planned but will probably post pictures of it regardless (stay tuned!) However, the dress I wore for NYE was really fun and only 50.00 on ASOS!

Cozy pearl sweater I found at Forever21.

Red velvet wrap around I wore to Christmas dinner also Forever21!

NYE dress! ASOS!

Happy New Year to everyone! I am excited for the year to come! 🥰

I have some exciting dresses to share with everyone. November we are invited again to three black tie events, which is super special and I feel so lucky!

The first dress I want to post about is this one from ASOS. It was actually meant to be my birthday dress, but unfortunately our dinner date turned into more of a day date and this would have not been appropriate 😂!! The first gala is black tie optional so I usually chose a cocktail dress for this particular event. Red is my favorite color to wear in a dress. I loved these bows on the shoulders and the dress was structured so well. This dress was a steal at 18.00! Unfortunately, it’s gone now but I will link a similar style and price point below.

I wanted wanted to share this casual dress from the Target clearance section! I saw this when it was regularly priced but didn’t know if I had a reason to wear a dress like this! I have worn it to two events now. If you can find it in the clearance section, grab it! I paired it with red shoes for a pop of color!

The second dress I wore for our anniversary dinner. It is from ASOS. I love the scuba material and the bows on the shoulders. This dress was not see through either which is always a chance you take when ordering a white dress online! This is on sale under 50.00.

I have a few more dresses to share before we switch over to fall for the blog posts!

Happy Labor Day weekend!

Mother’s Day dress💜

I loved this dress from ASOS, on sale that I wore for Mother’s Day. I don’t wear purple often but the off the shoulder sleeves were so pretty on this dress I had to have it! The material is a scuba material so it was not see-through whatsoever!

My shoes are Target!

Derby Day!

I love dressing up for the Derby party we go to every year! Unfortunately, this year the dress I ordered didn’t make it in time 😓 but I had this dress from Asos that I haven’t gotten to wear yet.

It is really light weight but has velvet through out. The length is a little shorter than what I would normally wear, but it was for a fun occasion! My hat is from Amazon and the shoes are Target!

I can’t find that exact dress but linked above 👆🏻is another dress I own you can wear in warmer months!

The way the race ended was almost as entertaining as the fashion and hats! 🤯

Hawaii Outfits

My husband and I were lucky to travel to Maui during one of the looooongest winters in recent memory! I had so much fun shopping for bargain dresses for this trip!

Outfit 1

This Asos dress caught my eye bc of the color and cut out on the side. I was worried it would wrinkle easily in my suitcase but that wasn’t a problem at all! This dress can be a little tricky to wear spanx with, bc of the cut out but that was my only issue.

Almost all of my bathing suits are from Amazon! This is one I couldn’t ever wear at home with the kids in the pool (too risky 😬) so I was excited to pull this out on our trip! I am tall and the length is great for long torsos, but the best part is this suit is very affordable and comes in many patterns! I didn’t take pictures of my other bathing suits but I’ll link my favorite two piece I bought below.

Outfit 2

This Asos dress was really colorful and came in my favorite flattering fabric, scuba. I loved the pattern, length and it was really comfortable!

Outfit 3

This evening was a causal evening so I paired a forever21 bodysuit with a skirt I found from TJ Maxx.

Outfit 4

This was my favorite dress out of them all. Also, from Asos I loved the shoulder, small cut out and pattern. This was a little tricky to put on at first, I had to go back to the picture of the model! 😂 This also did not wrinkle in my suitcase!

Outfit 5

This dress actually got a lot of compliments from other people which was nice! It was really light and girly. I loved the colors, as you can see it matched the evening sky! This is also from Asos!

Color Block Dress

And my travel outfit! I like to wear leggings on the airplane and a t-shirt. Leggings are Alo, T-shirt is Target and leather jacket is from Nordstrom Rack. This picture of me makes me laugh, bc I am trying way too hard (I was delirious after the 7 hour flight) but it’s the only one I have to show!

And last thank you to my husband for helping me take pictures for this blog!! I had a great trip with you!

A day in LA

My husband and I had one day to spend in LA before we headed to Hawaii. We definitely had to check out where all my Bravo shows take place, shop a little and eat! It was actually rainy and cold the day we visited so even though I had a dress planned to wear during the day I ended up in AE jeans, Marc Fisher boots and a Nordstrom leather jacket! My bodysuit is from Forever21. Sunglasses are from Target!

We had a great lunch at Villa Blanca and explored West Hollywood and Beverly Hills! Up next was dinner at Sur!

This dress is from Asos, on sale and fits true to size. I had to wear my jacket and paired it with my Nine West wedges.

I would have loved more time to spend in LA but we had a flight to catch! More on Hawaii outfits in my next post!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I know for me personally, I was ready to say goodbye to 2018.  I am looking forward to a fresh start in 2019!

For Christmas dinner my family dress code is causal in comparison to Christmas Eve. I decided to wear my American Eagle jeans with a Forever21 emerald green body suit. The jacket is old Forever21 and my boots are Marc Fisher (so comfortable!)

For New Years Eve, I literally went onto ASOS website and typed in Midi Velvet dress. I was really feeling the velvet this holiday season! This hot pink dress popped up and it was exactly what I was looking for. It had a little bit of stretch to it, and I was super comfortable in it all night long. I recommend this dress if you have a special occasion coming up! Asos can be very overwhelming. I always type in what type of dress I am looking for and sort from low to high price. They are always marking things way down. This dress was only 24.00!

What I wore: Chicago

My husband and I took a trip to Chicago last week. It ended up being cold and rainy most of the time so a lot of things I packed I couldn’t wear! Or I could have but would have been freezing! 😂

When we have a travel day I always wear leggings and sneakers with a sweater or jacket. It’s comfy and you can easily make it look cute! Glad this was comfortable considering we got stuck at the airport for 8 hours this day!

Jacket- Target

Shirt- Marshalls

Leggings- Lululemon

Sneakers- Sorel

Next up what I wore during the days pretty much consisted of a body suit, jacket and jeans. It was dreary and felt more like Fall and less like June! Which is ok by me 🙂

Jacket- Nordstrom Rack

Body suit- Forever21

Jeans- Americans eagle

Booties- Old Navy

The first night we had a lovely dinner with the people who hosted my husbands conference. This dress is my favorite dress I own from ASOS!

Shoes- Nine West

The following evening we had a lovely event at the Art Institue. This dress also is from ASOS!

Last! We finally saw Hamilton! It was a wonderful show and we had a delicious dinner after.

This dress was super tight but I loved the sleeves and the color was bright and fun to wear.

We had a wonderful time. Thanks, Chicago!
