Easy Halloween Costume Idea

This is what I wore over the weekend that included a quick and easy Halloween costume! 🎃

First up, our family took a long walk Saturday morning bc fall is in full swing and it was absolutely beautiful this day.

I am wearing Lululemon pants and vest, Target shirt, Addidas shoes and Quay sunglasses.

That evening we celebrated a family members birthday. It was chilly in the evening and I didn’t want to self tan 😂 so I pulled out my favorite black boots, black skirt from Forever21 and black/gold turtleneck form Forever21. If you don’t know what to wear, wear all black! This was easy to chase my kids around in as well!

Finally, we had a family Halloween celebration to attend. I love Halloween so I was game to dress up with the kids! I didn’t put a lot of money or effort into this, and you could take it as far as you want to! What I wore: Chicago

My husband and I took a trip to Chicago last week. It ended up being cold and rainy most of the time so a lot of things I packed I couldn’t wear! Or I could have but would have been freezing! 😂

When we have a travel day I always wear leggings and sneakers with a sweater or jacket. It’s comfy and you can easily make it look cute! Glad this was comfortable considering we got stuck at the airport for 8 hours this day!

Next up what I wore during the days pretty much consisted of a body suit, jacket and jeans. It was dreary and felt more like Fall and less like June! Which is ok by me 🙂

The first night we had a lovely dinner with the people who hosted my husbands conference. This dress is my favorite dress I own from ASOS!

Last! We finally saw Hamilton! It was a wonderful show and we had a delicious dinner after.

Spring is here!

Finally! Spring has arrived in the area I live in! I can’t wait to wear more dresses again and bright colors. In the meantime here are a few outfits from last week as we transitioned from Winter to Spring.

All of these looks are layered so that I’m warm when it’s cold in the morning but can take my jacket/vest off in the afternoon as it heats up!

I saw this Rolling Stones tank at Target the other week. I grabbed an XL so I could potentially wear it with leggings, and it worked! I paired it with a jean jacket also from Target and Lululemon leggings.

Ive also decided to break out the white converse. These and my Vans are my favorite tennis shoes to wear in the spring! They go with everything!

As always I highly recommend checking out Target’s t-shirt area for really well made and comfortable shirts!

I found this Lululemon jacket on Poshmark which is similar to eBay. I love the funnel neck and how it’s very fitted. If you don’t want to shell out major cash for Lululemon, definitely check Poshmark or eBay! The leggings are from Lululemon. I loved the color (wine) and they are super comfortable.

You don’t need to spend that kind of money for great leggings. I recommend Old Navy active wear or even Target’s Joy Lab activewear line!

Faux Leather jacket on sale!

This particular evening I got to go out with some friends for a happy hour. I wanted to be comfortable so I wore leggings and a longer tank top (actually had this from when I was pregnant 😬) with my sorel booties and my new faux leather jacket from Nordstrom Rack.

I found this jacket on sale for 59.00! The Sorel booties are so comfortable and easy to walk in. I also grabbed these off of Nordstrom Racks website!

Loved how easy this look was to wear out, never forget about Nordstrom Rack when you are looking to splurge on a nicer item! It’s so much more affordable than Nordstrom!

Fall Jacket Favorite

I found this Camo jacket at TJ Maxx a couple months ago and wear it all the time. I love the print, the way it sinches in your waist and the length! I can wear my leggings in this jacket and my butt is covered which I like!

It definitely light weight so I don’t think I can wear it when it gets too cold out but for now this is my favorite fall jacket I’ve found! I also saw something similar at Target.

Ok so this day I’m dressed like I’m going to the gym, but I didn’t make it to the gym 😂

BUT- I love this long sleeved Nike shirt I found at their outlet store for a great price! It’s long sleeved but is made out of their Dri Fit fabric, so it’s very breathable. Even though it was chilly in the early morning it was in the upper 80s that afternoon and I could wear this all day comfortably! I love the black with the white Nike font as well.

Lazy Saturday

Saturday we just ran some errands and did some furniture shopping! I just wanted to be comfortable!

I wore my lululemon leggings, target top and my lace up vans!

These sunglasses I found at the Saks outlet store and I love them! They are Michael Kors oversized mirrored aviators. They have a tortoise pattern on the rim and sides. I like them just as much or more than my mirrored Ray-Bans and they were much cheaper!

Today was just an average day in my stay at home mom life! I wore lululemon leggings, my favorite Target t-shirt and a chambray shirt over to look like I tried!

I love leggings but I wore them all the time pregnant. Sometimes they remind me of those days, so you’ll catch me in jeans more often! However, they are so much more comfortable!
