I decided to put together a quick look book for spring. All the outfits are affordable!
I did this with help from my 5 & 7 year old and my iPhone, so it’s not the most professional but I tried! Bonus points if you can spot my husband in the background! 😂🙈

Last weekend we had another fun gala to attend. This time I wanted to rent a dress from Rent the Runway. I’ve used them many times! I usually am happy with my rental but did have one bad experience and I stopped after that. It’s been a year and a half so I thought I’d put my faith back into the company and rent a dress for this occasion.
I didn’t want to spend a fortune so I only looked at long gowns that were in the 50.00 price range. I came upon this red dress and loved the cut! When I rent on their website I immediately scroll to the actual pictures of real women wearing the dress and that’s how I can tell if it’s worth it!
This is the Red Harbor Gown by Likely. The dress needed something to help sinch in the waist for me so I added my own black belt. I wore a black beaded bracelet and my black Nine West Heels.

Ok fall where are you!? I know I don’t like winter but I also don’t like 90 degree humid weather in September either! 😩
The first outfit is a two set piece that I bought from Marshall’s. It is the same exact brand (Joe & Elle) as the green set I wore for my anniversary dinner but this time in blue and purple! I know, I basically bought the same outfit twice, but I just love the way it fits and the bold flowers! I paired with with my lavender Target heels.
Next up! This jumper I found in Targets new Wild Fable collection. The collection is aimed more towards Jrs, but I found this jumper to be pretty classy. Amazingly it fit me well and didn’t ride up! 😅🙌🏻 I wore this with my Nine West wedges to a services again and then a baby shower. I love that I could pick up my screaming two year old with no worries about bending over. Always a good thing!
You could totally wear this when the weather gets cooler with booties and a leather jacket.

My husband and I took a trip to Chicago last week. It ended up being cold and rainy most of the time so a lot of things I packed I couldn’t wear! Or I could have but would have been freezing! 😂
When we have a travel day I always wear leggings and sneakers with a sweater or jacket. It’s comfy and you can easily make it look cute! Glad this was comfortable considering we got stuck at the airport for 8 hours this day!

This skirt I found from Target with an off the shoulder body suit from Forever21. I belted it with an old aqua/khaki belt bc the skirt was a little big on me.

I’ve been saving this floral and striped dress I found on Asos for a special occasion and it was perfect for our anniversary dinner.
It is my favorite length, midi, and material! Scuba material is so flattering on everyone. It hides everything!
My favorite detail were the ties on the shoulders. They were kind of hard to get just right so they didn’t look silly, but I think I did an OK job tying them.

This evening we had a work event for my husband at an art museum. I wore this dress from Top shop which was once again orange! I’m not normally an orange girl so it’s funny that I’ve worn it so much lately! It is a midi length and has a high neck for a classier look! I paired it withy Nine West wedges bc they are just super easy to walk in!

My husband and I hosted a big brunch for his mom, my mom and his sister. Needless to say it wasn’t a very relaxing day for me but I was so happy to do it for them! They deserve it!
I ordered a dress off of ASOS for this occasions and they sent me the wrong dress completely. Luckily, I also ordered this lavender skirt so it worked out! ASOS has been a pain to work with when it comes to missing products, incorrect products or even trying to return merchandise. Which is so disappointing bc I love their clothing! 😩
I paired the skirt with a light blue crop top and my Nine West wedges. I love these bc they are easy to walk around in but look super cute! I love shoes that have ankle straps. I think it’s very flattering.
My daughter gets so excited when I take photos of my outfits! ☺️ She tries to get in the picture a lot-I apologize!
